ot. you've seen the booker short list? you've a good batting average: all the books that have been reviewed so far made it. either we're prescient or the booker is getting crappier every year.
i'm not counting one word reviews here, though.
I do think it's an exaggeration to call it a defense when the only thing he's in danger of is a hangover from the after-party.
